Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Compix, the design tool at compix.io. By using Compix you agree to them. We've kept them short and plain.
Using Compix
You can edit and download designs without an account. Some features, like saving your designs and share links that last, need you to sign in. To create an account you must be at least 13, or older if the law where you live says so. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
The images you open and the designs you make are yours. We don't claim any rights to them, and because they stay in your browser, we don't see them. You are responsible for having the right to use the images you bring in, and for what you do with your designs and share links.
Templates, elements and fonts
You can use the templates, drawn elements and fonts in Compix inside the designs you make, for personal and commercial projects. You can't resell or give them away on their own, outside a design, or use them to build a competing template or element library. Compix itself, its code, its library and its name, stays ours.
What you can't do
- Use Compix for anything illegal, or to make content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Share links to content that is illegal, abusive or harmful.
- Try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
- Copy the library in bulk, or scrape the site.
We may remove share links and suspend accounts that break these rules.
A free service that changes
Compix is free to use today. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we introduce paid features, we'll say so clearly before you pay for anything.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Compix reliable, but it is provided as it is, without warranties. Your designs are kept in your browser, which can be cleared, so download copies of anything important.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of Compix. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law says can't be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Compix at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the editor before it applies.
