What makes a wanted poster work
The name, big and plain
WANTED at the top and the name under the photo are what people read from across the room. Keep the name short and the letters heavy.
A face that fills the frame
Crop the photo close so the face fills the spot. A wanted poster reads as a joke or a hunt only when you can see who it is.
A reward that tells the story
The reward line is where the fun is: cake, belly rubs, extra recess. One line, and the date and place under it for a party.
